Technical information about the project

Existing Ground source fixed speed ”York” heat pump installed in 1998 had to be decommissioned and replaced by more energy efficient inverter driven ground source heat pumps. Heat pumps providing heat in winter months, cool via water-based fan coils in summer or both simultaneously in between seasons.

Near zero cost passive cooling via ground, a collector is also possible for milder summer days.
