Cooling (Air Conditioning) With MasterTherm Heat Pumps
Cooling with significantly lower costs compared to conventional air conditioners

All MasterTherm heat pumps can have a cooling mode for your building. Thanks to advanced construction and regulation, our heat pumps cool at a significantly lower operating cost as compared to conventional air conditioning. We distinguish between passive or reversible interior cooling.
Passive Cooling: Free Cooling
Super efficient use of renewable energy
AquaMaster heat pumps can be factory-equipped with a passive cooling function, where the ground cooling energy is transferred directly to the building. Energy consumption for cooling is reduced and drives the circulation pumps. You ‘cool’ for free while also storing that energy in the ground collector for later use (collector regeneration).
Energy-Saving Reversible Heat Pump Cooling
Condensing and non-condensing cooling
Compressor cooling is enabled by all Master Therm heat pumps by reversing their operation. According to the temperature of the cooling water, we distinguish between condensing and non-condensing cooling.
It is advantageous to equip the heat pump with a desuperheater; a device for efficient hot water heating. Such a heat pump is able to heat hot water simultaneously in the reverse cooling mode.
