It features an enlarged spiral coil, taking inspiration from the renowned Maxi model, which is celebrated for its efficiency. This unit expands Galmet’s range of standing domestic hot water heat cylinders, offering superior power output thanks to its advanced design.

• Enlarged Spiral Coil:
  The Tower Grand boasts a significantly larger coil—over twice the size of standard domestic hot water heat cylinders*. The coil surface area ranges from 1.4m² in the 160-litre model to 4.3m² in the 500-litre model. This design ensures optimal compatibility with both on-off and inverter heat pumps, providing flexibility for a wide range of installations.
• Capacity Options:
  Available in capacities from 160 to 500 litres, the Tower Grand caters to both small-scale and high-demand systems, making it ideal for homes and small commercial applications with varying hot water needs.
• Smart Hydraulic Connections:
  All hydraulic connections are located at the back of the unit for easy access and hassle-free installation. The rear panel also includes sensor mounts for heat pump integration and a socket for a secondary return circulation pump. This allows for instant hot water delivery at a consistent temperature throughout the system when a circulation pump is in use.
• User-Friendly Design:
  The front of the tank features a large, easy-to-read thermometer for quick monitoring. Each unit comes with adjustable leveling feet, ensuring stable placement even on uneven surfaces.

• Electric Heater Compatibility:
  The Tower Grand can be equipped with an electric heater via the complete GE electrical set, compatible with a Gw 6/4” fitting.
• Advanced Anti-Corrosion Protection:
  Galmet’s proprietary EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel provides robust protection for the tank’s inner surfaces and the spiral coil. Applied using a wet process and fired at 850°C, this coating offers a smooth, durable barrier. Standard magnesium anodes provide further protection, with the option of a maintenance-free active titanium anode for enhanced performance. Additionally, DIELECTRIC PROTECTION® secures the tank connections against galvanic corrosion.
• Superior Insulation:
  A thick layer of rigid polyurethane foam minimizes heat loss, helping maintain water temperature while reducing energy costs. The insulation is further protected by an external PVC casing, ensuring durability and improved efficiency.
